Webinar content
Ammonia has been in use in various applications for almost a century. Ammonia is a hazardous product with regard to people and the environment, however, the long experience with production, storage and handling of this product has led to knowledge that has been included into public standards, guidelines and literature. By having in place a good process safety management system, and by following recognised standards and guidelines, the risk can in most cases be reduced to an acceptable level. The presentation takes you through the hazardous properties of ammonia and how the risks may be controlled. The safety track record of ammonia in the last decades will also be briefly presented.
